Classic Shell adalah kumpulan fitur yang tersedia dalam versi Windows sebelumnya, tetapi kemudian telah dihapus. Classic Shell memiliki menu start dan tombol start yang dapat disesuaikan untuk Windows 7 dan Window 8. Ini menambahkan toolbar untuk Windows Explorer dan mendukung berbagai fitur yang lebih kecil.
